The last two days reminded me that Paris is an unpredictable place. One can have a very Oriental afternoon while being at rue Saint-Honoré or dip into another world behind the Costes door or go to an exposition and get an ugliness shock. The last happened thanks to Diane Arbus whose work can be ,,admired" in Jeu de Paume. Or better not. One of her quotes I read there was: ,,I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them''. And I really believe it would be better if she didn't. Freakshow must not go on.
