Baroness Noémie de Rothschild was certainly a very charismatic person.. After becoming disenchented with St. Moritz, she created a ski resort à la mode by herself.. Sounds reasonable.. 

Thanks to her, Megève is still one of the most popular ski resorts in Europe..

The extraordinary exhibition "Chic à la montagne" at the Musée de Megève 

is a delight for all fashion lovers.. 

At least it was en extreme delight for me..
